1. Statistic Frequencies (intro)

the dead and the dying are happy and saved
for me there is still suffering
their journey is over and nothing is left
the magick of nothing is gone
no one is lost as we're nothing at first
we're just statistic frequencies
matter and waves are the same in the end
you and all sounds will fade
forget all the stars from which you are born
there is no eternal fire
there is no abyss and there is no salvation
that is lies to keep fear away

2. Distant Companion

you and I will go away
together to the planet Pluto
it is the suns most distant companion
it is far away out in our solar system

if you didn't know its got a moon also
Charon is the moon of planet Pluto

yes, I know some people say
Pluto is just an asteroid astray
but I don't mind that cause its far away
thats is where I'll go to be alone with you

with you I'll sit on the brink of stars
watching space and everything beyond
and when its enough we'll take a ride
on a comet back to Earth

3. I Wanna Know

well I wanna know why you said you had to go
when you sat there right by my side
well I wanna see the one about to be replacing me
and tell him all the things that you have done to me

I know you're far away, but I want you anyway

well I know they said the two of you'll be the perfect match
but that was obviously wrong
ever since we met I felt this anguish and regret
cause I knew how it all would end

I know you're far away, but I want you anyway

so, hello, this is the end, I cant endure all this again
cause Im to old for this
well in fact I know that it was me, I trew it all away
when you left me all alone

I know you're far away, but I want you anyway

4. There Is A Ghost

there is a ghost
inside of me
you left it there
the first time we met

and it works like
a drug called you
now im addicted
cant be without you

but you are abscent
not by my side
but you are everywhere
in my mind

you are everywhere that I go
your ghost is in my mind

5. Closer to the Stars

out there in the night I wander among the trees
my path only lit by twinkeling stars
and only you could bring them down
and only you could bring them down

up in the skies tonight there are a million stars
they're very far away I know
but they're closer to me than you
but they're closer to me than you

don't think they've been so clear is it like this everywhere
can you see them from where you stand
is it dark enough for you to see
is it dark enough for you to see

two crows circle above me in this dark and bleak world
they circle and crow, omnius and haunting
as if they knew what was going to happen
the sky touches the horizon with a gray shroud of cloud
and my voice echoes hollow and thin when I try to talk
it is af is the words are caught by the black crows
and carried of into the nothingness of the fog
I stand alone in the darkness now that the wordstealing crows are gone

their bright light touches me trying to illuminate my soul
filling up the void of emptiness
where your abscent kisses should be
where your abscent kisses should be

6. The Tears of Tomorrow

Jake's alone again, it's valentines day
yet another girl has led him astray
he was seeking something to keep him warm
but instead he was swept off by a storm
Jake's sitting there with his head bent down
and his forehead, my friend, it is so frown

for he's sitting there, thinking: what shall I do
with my life now when I can't be with you
all the tears of tonight might drown me in my sleep
therefore I ask the lord my precious soul to keep

and then again he sits there all alone
with nothing to say and nothing to atone
there are people that lives in his heart
but they are strangers now, they walk far apart
in the end it might turn out for the best
if he just laid his head down to rest

for tomorrow the tears of yesterday have dried
and his heart will be lighter than before he cried
tonight all sorrows will leave him, and his fright
cause the tears of tomorrow will dry tonight

7. Julie Said Im Sorry

Julie said I'm sorry for what I've done
I didn't mean for things to go this wrong
I said that it's okay I'm used to you by now
and I'll get over this I think well somehow

Julie said I'm tired and all things must end
I know that you are strong and I want you as my friend
I said of course my dear I will always be here
as long as you are around I won't go anywhere

Julie said that this must be the best of all bad things
I can not pretend that I'm an angel without wings
I said that I know all about your complicated past
but things can change and all will be alright at last

8. The Golden Tree

can you see the fruit of the golden tree
can you see its price
can you see the pain that it will cost you
or are you to blind to see

all the horrid things you endure to win
will they make your dreams come true
or will you work and struggle till you die
is that really what the fruit is worth

go ahead and pick the golden fruit today
I say: tomorrow is to late
feel the wind, how it whispers in your heart
only then your mind will be free

go ahead and drop you burden to the floor
I'm sure that no one will complain
they will follow you on a raid of consciousness
and steal the fruit before it falls

9. Deenay

in 1944 the great discovery is done
at the Rockefeller Institute
for the first time we see the deoxiribonukleic acid
it contains the codes for everything that lives

and in 1962 James D Watson and Frances Crick
gets the nobelprize in chemistry for
the discovery that its shape is double helix

deoxiribonukleic acid, yeah
dna dna dna, dna dna

a t g c are the nucleoid proteines
that is the code which we're built of

restrictionenzymes, artificial insulin
Its all gathered up in our chromosomes
hybrid, design, splitting genom into clones

10. A Girl Is Missing

a girl is missing
somewhere in the autumn cold
lost among the yellow leaves
wherabouts unknown, will she return

a boy is waiting patiently
he isnt crying but suddenly
he feels abandoned
alone in the morning mist

a faded red flower
is our only trace
not by far as pretty
as when it is green

maybe she'll turn up next spring
in a ditch somewhere
when the snow is melting
the birds will sing her song

maybe therell be a postcard
from the other side of earth
with greetings from the sun and
a promise to return next summer

a faded red flower...

maybe shes just sleeping
curing a nasty cold
then shell be back on monday
when the boy is gone instead

a girl is missing
somewhere in the autumn cold
lost among the yellow leaves
wherabouts unknown, will she return

11. Indiagram

early wintermorning I'm going home
I've been at a party with some friends
all I want to do now is go to bed
it's all over now it is to late

they're gone tomorrow
they've gone away
they are going on a journey
far far away

all that remains now are memories
of all the things that we used to do
now I won't see them for quite a while
but they have promised me to send some mail

all the way
from india
they're gonna send me
an indiagram

now I'm waiting thank god it's spring
it brings sunshine into my life
it won't be long now they're coming home
that's what they said in their last indiagram

they've been away
seen a lot of things
but now it's time
time to come home

12. With All The Broken Memories

There are sixteen stories on this album. Some are stories about long lost lovers, some are the stories of abscent friends and some are stories that are true though they are fiction. Time is the essence in many of these stories. Time is strange. And forever is a very tricky thing. It's supposed to last longer than anything else. It's the distance between the opposite edges of the galaxy. In poetry it is the time it takes for a broken heart to heal. Things can be the same for a long long time. Repeating in circles that suddenly break when everything changes and nothing is the same as before. Sometimes you want things to go back to how it was. Or you want things to be a way it never was. And sometimes things change for the better.

A true story. One horrible winter my special girl left me, and my soul froze in the darkness. I thought, as one always do, that she was the one. But somehow things grow weird between us, and when the friction ignited sparks, she said she'd had enough. Maybe it could have been solved, that's what I thought then, but she just went away without trying. She didn't tell me where she went, but I knew. I never told her, but I knew more than she thinks. She moved out and left me crying in the middle of all broken memories. My heart got severly damaged during all this, it's still kind of fragile. It was the worst time of my life. Later she said we'd call each other once in a while, but suddenly she just called me names and hung up the phone. She says I stepped on her toes while she crushed my heart. All I did was finding a new source of light in my life. I don't know if she hates me now or loathes me or regrets what happened. All I know was that she said she'd love me forever. It turned out to be three years and eight days. End of that story.

Time acts like a giant eraser and as we move along, the abyss behind us grows. Time is hard and merciless, tears won't soften it a bit, and in lonliness it gets thin and hollow, hardly endurable. And as time passes, the distance in space will grow. The redshift indicates that the distance between galaxies increases with time. Time is how everything strives towards chaos, the balanced, finished universe of thermodynamic equilibrium. Time will be indistinguisiable from space as all events cease to be. Time is transformation. Time is essence. Time is consciousness and life. Death is change, transformation, and a new beginning.

That distant star I once thought was my sun has faded away, and the darkness of space is cold. The journey through the nothingness was difficult and hard, seemingly neverending. But just as I was about to give up, light came upon me once again. I awoke, opened my eyes and found myself orbiting around a wonderful radiant sun.

13. The Reaper In A Black Coat

she looked at me and asked
are you drunk or depressed
maybe you know me far to well
a little bit of both I said and smiled

give me a cigarette, I wanna smoke
light it for me baby, we can die together

I inhaled, felt a burning sensation
like when I met her the first time
we sat alone in the darkest corner of the room
talking about how it feels to die

the music was loud, people were dancing
everyone is pretending that they are not alone
I looked at the girl right across the table
she looked at me and I felt like the sun again

she told me don't be happy, it is over soon
and then we'll both be looking for another one
I nodded at her and bought another beer
that's the only company that won't go away

and then he came in through the door
the reaper in a black coat, oh no!
I know what you want, he said to me
but it is her I came for you'll have to stay

14. How It's Gonna Be

so this is how it's gonna be
you're in love but not with me
I would have liked to say we
but this is how it's gonna be

so this is how it's gonna end
no little angels will descend
thank god at least you're my friend
cause this is how its gonna end

this is how it's gonna end
this is how it's gonna end
and this is how it's gonna be
this is how it's gonna be

15. In the Garden

I was walking in the garden of electrochemical light
It's an imaginary place
Where all origins converge and emerge
From the fields of the subconscious
The paths cross the garden in all directions
Like intersecting neural patterns
And they take me to the distant corners
Of my intricate self
There are different areas within the garden
And in every garden,
nothing special about that
There is no holy forbidden fruit in here
It's only in your mind, it's what you've been told
Enjoy the delights of the garden today
Every moment should matter
Everything is a gift, as we are nothing at first
Should matter, but never does
The garden is limitless as the universe
But of course not as big
All thoughts are the same in the end
But different, like spirals and circles
The vastness is of space is the vastness
Of the garden

The garden is a mirror of ourselves
No, it's more like a maze
It's inhabitants guides you to and through
Through to where?
Here you see the roots of the golden tree
Or the tree of life as kabbalah calls it
Travel the cortex with me and find
Fungus perhaps? Stars? Poetry? Commitment?
Fall with the gardener into the spine of existance
Into evolution that is
The gardener aka the Morningstar

Cause it's hard to arrange the bricks the best way
Assemble the parts correctly, it's important
To build what should be built takes a lifetime
To climb the cerebral tree takes even longer
Some say that the garden isn't all there is
But everyone is alone in their garden, that's how it is
They search in a book a map to the wonderful world outside
But there is nothing out there, that's how it will be
I think no one is lost as we're all there is
A static number? You really belive that?

But sometimes I can hear voices
It's just me talking
I think they are talking to me
You shouldn't be able to hear me
Maybe I'm not alone in the garden
You are alone
Could there be someone else in here?
There is something wrong
In the garden

16. About the End

express highway to the deteriating universe
and what do we find
no implosiative end just eternal fade
nothing matters anymore since there is no matter
no physical processes left to define time
(the distance between events)
only space will be left untouched by chaos
lets become space and we'll live forever
